 The Christian Church of Waitsburg is a congregation of 70 families from all over the Touchet Valley area of southeast Washington State. Located in the small farming town of Waitsburg, the Christian Church is part of the wider Christian family of the valley, and has been an incorporated congregation since 1867.
Historically descended from the 19th-century American church movement known as the Christian Church--Disciples of Christ, today the Christian Church remains a vital and growing community church dedicated to the spirit of thankful praise, ministry to and with young people, the mentoring of new believers, and service to our community, valley, and world.
Our church building is 103 years old, and has been faithfully maintained over the years. We are currently celebrating the recently completed renovation of our sanctuary, including restoration of the original vaulted ceiling. We see this project as a sign of God's desire to renew our faith, fellowship and ministry. We are proud of our original stained glass art windows.
We encourage you to tour our site and learn more about our ministries, spiritual renewal, and our 12-year-old Touchet Valley community youth choir, Salt & Light. We join with Christians everywhere in giving Glory to God for the miracles we are experiencing in our lives today!
